Microwaves are emitted from a transmitter and received by a receiver, but if water is present in between, the signal attenuates with a high correlation to the amount of water. This is because water has an extremely high relative permittivity compared to other substances, allowing for highly accurate measurement of moisture in the material being tested. The microwave transmission-type moisture meter 'MM-94L' can be easily installed in existing lines and measures moisture instantly without contact or destruction, unaffected by the color or surface shape of the material, even measuring internal moisture.
